The core maintains access to two computer resources for bioinformatic analysis:

  1. HCI-BIOs (hci-bio1.hci.utah.edu (quad 4, general purpose), hci-bio2.hci.utah.edu (4x quad 4, Solexa), hci-bio3.hci.utah.edu (dual core, virtual server), biofile.hci.utah.edu (dual core, disk mounts), bioserver.hci.utah.edu (dual core, web apps) - an expanding group of 64-bit Linux servers linked by a shared NFS file system
  2. CHPC Arches clusters - accounts on the Center for High Performance Computing clusters
